Bus&Go Returns to Garda Trentino with Expanded Service and New Destinations

The innovative on-demand transport service Bus&Go, operated by Trentino Trasporti and powered by Shotl technology, has officially relaunched for the 2025 season with significant improvements and service expansion. Starting this spring, the service will run with a fleet of five vehicles, up from three last year, and will also include a new dedicated route to connect visitors with the iconic climbing crags of Massone and Laghel.

Since its initial launch in 2022, Bus&Go has been a flexible and sustainable transport solution in the Alto Garda area, helping residents and tourists move around efficiently without the need for a private car. With the success of previous seasons and the growing popularity of on-demand mobility, 2025 marks a key turning point for the service, both in scale and ambition.

A Service That Grows with Its Territory

Thanks to the collaborative effort between local authorities, Trentino Trasporti, and the Shotl platform, Bus&Go continues to evolve to meet the region's dynamic mobility needs. The inclusion of two additional vehicles this year will enhance service frequency and reduce waiting times, particularly during peak tourist months.

The 2025 season also introduces a targeted service for climbers and nature enthusiasts, offering direct access to the popular crags in Massone and Laghel, areas previously underserved by traditional transport options. This addition comes in response to feedback from the local community and sport tourism stakeholders, reinforcing the region’s commitment to sustainable and active mobility.

Smart Technology Behind the Wheel

The service is powered by Shotl’s demand-responsive technology, allowing passengers to book their rides in real time via a user-friendly mobile app. Whether planning trips in advance or requesting rides spontaneously, the system optimally matches demand and vehicle availability through intelligent route planning and dynamic pooling.

Shotl’s platform ensures that wheelchair users and passengers with limited mobility are accommodated, and the system continuously adjusts to live traffic data and vehicle conditions to provide accurate ETAs and a smooth user experience.

Sustainable, Accessible, and Ready for the Season

With its expanded vehicle fleet and new climbing shuttle, Bus&Go aims to reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions in the Garda Trentino region. The service also supports local efforts to improve accessibility, reduce the environmental footprint of tourism, and provide last-mile connectivity between towns, natural parks, and tourism hotspots.

As of April 1st, 2025, the service is officially live and available every day via the Bus&Go app on Android and iOS. Passengers can select their origin and destination, track the vehicle in real-time, and receive timely updates about their journey.

A Trusted Collaboration

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Trentino Trasporti and the Comune of Arco for their continued trust in Shotl. This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to building smart, inclusive, and sustainable mobility solutions for communities across Europe.
